| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 25, 2009 My first kellerbier outside Franconia. a good effort with some fatal flaws. cloudy orange with lots of carbonation and a loose fluffy head - weissbier level. some nice elements in the aroma - freshly boiled wort, sharp hops, doughy yeast. but oh no there’s medicine and burning plastic, at a very low level, but it’s enough to ruin it. in the mouth there’s strong malt, the yeast gives it a grainy creaminess, and it’s quite bitter, but the same off flavours ruin the finish. had to tip it out. a shame as it had everything else going for it. gam (1116), brisbane, Australia

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2009 After much prompting by Greig i finally tried this beer and i LIKED it! I wrote a few notes but i was kinda trying to watch the TV at the same tim...looks great in the glass, pale straw colour, cloudy, pretty good dense head. i found it to be zesty spritzy clean and refreshing with a tartness that i enjoyed. best Green man beer i’ve had! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 22, 2009 It is quite fascinating to read the other ratings on this beer; they seem to be quite distinctly different from one another in many cases. My experience began with a hazy golden pour, moderate dense white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, and creamy. As it breathes, more orchard fruit character comes forward in the aoma. The palate is light, again with orchard fruits (pear, apple), with some low spicy notes. Medium bitter finish of short length. Really quite nice, light, and refreshing. I certainly would have this again. donfardz64 (435), Wellington, New Zealand
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Pours cloudy golden, fizzy white head which dissipates. Aroma is quite unique to me, fruity but with a vegetable like note, reminiscent of tomato vine and hops. Flavour is rather bitter, ginger, and a flavour I can only describe as earthy. Bitterness lasts throughout, finishing long and bitter with earthy vegetables. Not a session beer, but one with character. sdriessen (208), Dunedin, New Zealand
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 8, 2009 Aroma of cooked veges, pear, apricot and spicy ginger. Some pink grapefruit, and even a cola-like scent.
Pours a cloudy pale brown, with zero head.
Flavours are quite savoury - I find tomato and ginger, some olive. Straw-like malt is quite nice. Quite sweet, some fruitiness. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Aroma of yeast and flowers. Fairly light in body with sweet malts, flowery accents and a shot of yeast. Dry and lightly hoppy finish. 270408
