greig (70), Hamilton, New Zealand Aug 25, 2008 Updated: Oct 2, 2008Cloudy straw with fluffy white head. Aroma of lemons and grass. Gentle palate, slight yeast bite, with more lemons and a spicy hoppyness. I’ll try it again, but it’s not mindblowing.
Re-Rate: OK, it’s better now. Same as above, but like the volume has been turned up. A very nice slight sourness is present too. I’m liking this beer. bluevegie (1772), Perth, Australia Aug 15, 2008 Fairly decent white head on a slightly hazy yelow gold body. Yeasty soapy aroma, taste is very similar with some citrus notes as well, not too much else happening. TheGrandMaster (1495), Auckland, New Zealand Jun 7, 2008 Bottle, pouring a clear (not cloudy here) gold with a large pure white foamy head. Only a light neutral hoppy aroma, a little soapy. Again, the palate is more soapy than creamy. The unfiltered yeast does give the flavour some character though - lightly spiced and citrus. The finish is short and tart. As others say, somewhat thin and bland. Ungstrup (11408), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 12, 2008 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thick lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of citrus and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of citrus, leading to a dry and slightly spicy finish. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for shipping this home. bozoNZ (370), Christchurch, New Zealand May 3, 2008 500ml bottle. Murky yellow full head. fresh yeast / bready aroma. Malty, light spices, canned fruits but overall thin and uneventful. Interesting style and points for that but not sure too many people would come back for seconds?
