It had been a while on this one, and needed to try it again to rate it... The beer is a weak, knock-off of SN with not much body, malt, nor hops to break the water taste of it. I’d drink it if AB was giving it away.

Pours a nice amber color with a thin head. Aroma is super sweet malt a little bit of hops. Flavor is sweet lightly hoppy and completely unremarkable. Not anything to write home about.

Nice American style organic pale ale from AB. Smooth yet good balance of hops and malt. No aftertaste whatsoever.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Sweet malty aroma. The flavor is well balanced with alight sweetness and a hint of floral hops. Not bad.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Aroma is sweet, fruity, and citrusy. The flavor is the same but with a strange dry metal taste mixed in.

12oz bottle: appearance is med brown with small white head, aroma of malt with a hint of hops, flavor is mostly pale malt and a hint of caramel and hops, decent beer but i bought it thinking it was made in New Hampshire!

Fairly pronounced caramel aroma. Flavor definitely dominated by malt rather than hops. Simple and slightly papery (might not have been the freshest bottle). Decent but unremarkable.

Overall Impression: To review this beer I will just modify the commercial description from above... To craft a remarkable Pale Ale, you must begin with the finest ingredients. Stone Mill Pale Ale is made with 100% organic barley malt, certified by the USDA for a classic taste that is the perfect balance of maltiness and hop bouqet. To craft a mediocre Pale Ale you should just do what we did.

Pours amber with offwhite head. Smell is sticky band aid malt and light hops. Taste is a bit more malty and sticky than necessary with a touch of guaze flavor but with some hops at least. The malt character hurts this beer. Drinkable, but not great.
