This drink was fine just to have a drink, but I wouldn’t buy a 6pk of this. Has a little taste to offer along with a weak appearance. Pours a slightly cloudy brown color and the smell is nothing to rave about either.

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear light amber with a lacy off-white head. Thin aroma of caramel. Thin, watery body and medium carbonation. Just a trace of malt sweetness in the taste. Crisp and moderately earthy bitter finish, due to the lack of body to moderate the bitterness. Lacks anything that might vaguely resemble complexity. APA-Lite?

Aug 17, 2008 It had been a while on this one, and needed to try it again to rate it... The beer is a weak, knock-off of SN with not much body, malt, nor hops to break the water taste of it. I’d drink it if AB was giving it away.

Aug 15, 2008 Bottle 2008. This beer is mediocre at best. Light hops and malt scent. Light amber-yellow with no head. Tastes of very light hops and water. Light malty sweetness. Generally forgettable.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle - Pours a clear very light amber color. Medium sized white head. Very light lacing. Minimal hoppy aroma. Can taste the hops, but feels like it was watered down. Bitter mouthfeel. Not bad, but you feel kind of cheated because its missing any sort of wow factor.

Aug 8, 2008 Well first and foremost this wasn’t very good. Everything about it is way too light and the flavors faint and in the background, just like you would expect from a so-called craft offering from AB. The mouthfeel is very sweet malts, with a hint of soapy hops and still has that flavor that you can only get from cheap ingredients and adjuncts.
