| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2005 Deep copper mahogany pour has a dense, frothy white head. NIce creamy caramel maltiness dominates the aroma with a pleasant mild hop grassiness. Smooth, yet full body has a nice sticky caramel malty sweetness. Well-balanced, earthy, dry malty finish. A very enjoyable bitter. Magicdave6 (5531), London, Greater London, England

If there are no guest beers on this is the next best beer at this pub. It has some nice toffee apple type flavours and some nice caramel but there really isn’t enough to keep you interested much past the 2nd pint Boystout (900), Chisinau, Moldova
