(Cask at Quinns, Camden Town, London, 27 April 2008) Dark amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots and a hint of sulphur. Fruity taste with dark fruit, slightly artificial with earthy hops in the finish. Rather sweet, medium body. Drinkable, but with definite macro character.

(cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Orange pour with a creamy white head. Aroma is light and rather sweet with a light touch of hops and some grass. Flavor is sweet malts, biscuit dough, some slight fruity sweetness, and a light hop touch near the end. Leaves a slightly bitter finish on the tongue.

Clear amber of color with a longlasting off white head. A weak aroma of sweet malt. A flavor of malt, sweets, bisquit, apples and weak bitter notes.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 18/3/08. I tired to approach this one with an open mind...honest. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of sickly caramel and oily hops. The flavour was cloyingly sweet with a whiff of sulphur and a slightly metallic finish. Served in decent condition, so no excuses - poor!

Amber color, small off-white head. Woody-grassy hoppy nose. Woody hoppy flavor with caramelly-malty sweetness. Flavors of mould - propably this cask was not at its best. Some dusty hops in the aftertaste.
