I tired to approach this one with an open mind...honest. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of sickly caramel and oily hops. The flavour was cloyingly sweet with a whiff of sulphur and a slightly metallic finish. Served in decent condition, so no excuses - poor! berkshirejohn (1833), Bracknell, Berkshire, England

Amber color, small off-white head. Woody-grassy hoppy nose. Woody hoppy flavor with caramelly-malty sweetness. Flavors of mould - propably this cask was not at its best. Some dusty hops in the aftertaste.
