Really enjoyed this beer. Deep amber colour with a smooth palate and a honey taste. One of the better english beers I have had. Will have again

Fairly ordinary ale, very light fruit background, decent malts, but not much character. Not very complex.

Bottled. This is not nearly as good as the cask version; it definitely tastes pasteurised. The flavours are less fruity than the cask version also; here it is caramel and vanilla. Too strong to be a session beer anyway, after three bottles of this I was enjoying it less than the first one.

Not a very impressive beer. Light coloured, rather like amber in fact. There is just something rather unpleasant about Abbot Ale. Leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.

Forte e encorpada. Aroma suave, com predomínio do álcool e muito malte. Início adocicado e final amargo, como era de se esperar.

Nice lowbitter beer, with light brown head. Sweet and god malty for onion and pork stew.

pours a beautiful clear amber, with a small beige head. sweet, honeylike and floral aroma with some bitterness present.almonds? flavor is slightly sweet, honey and flowery, but balanced very nicely with bitterness. comes off as something definetly sessionable. one of the most tasty english beers i’ve had for a long time

Nice reddish color with white diminishing head, nice aroma of malt with medium sweetness and some clove spice, sweet malty flavor with bitter aftertaste, good beer.
