Aug 6, 2008 Bottle, light amber coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small off-white head. Creamy roasted and malty aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter malty yeasty with some light roasted touches. Not bad this one.

Jul 27, 2008 Bottle, St Andrews Hall, Norwich. Post Guy’s wedding. Not something I’d normally have sought out this, but it was the best of a bad bunch and there was £££ behind the bar. Anyway....dark amber colour, malty farty aroma. Flavour was malty, thin; watery body. Not very pleasant, what -evuh....

Jul 26, 2008 Bottle: malty sweet, caramel, nutty, some bready notes, sharp, but not strong bitterness which is both hoppy and metalic, nice bitterness in the finish, the mouthfill is a bit thin and watery, overall pretty nice beer.

Jul 17, 2008 Can. Aroma of crystal malt, caramel, metal, and mineral hops. Clear medium amber brown hue with an average sized off-white head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Flavor is smooth caramel malt with some mineral hops. Palate is light bodied and watery flat. Finish is average. Aroma and flavor have a distinct mineral and metal presence that keeps this brew from reaching beyond an average experience.

Jul 15, 2008 Pours a golden brown color with a small white froth. Very dry fruitiness in the aroma with some sweet creamy malt. Flavor is also very creamy and smooth. Fruity and malt driven, this is your standard English ESB. Quite smooth and medium bodied. Extremely easy to drink and a classic pub sipper.

Jul 5, 2008 Updated: Jul 18, 2008Can. Pours a clear amber golden with a firm off-white head. Weird, sweet aroma; detecting notes of spices, citrus, yeast, cream, cereals and fruit mixed together in a bad, cloying way. Flavour is pretty much the same. Finish is sweet with notes of grass and wine. Lingering mild bitterness. A strange beer; has notes of lots of things which in themselves are okay, but the combination in this case is just not working. 06-07-08.
