Very little in the way of any bitterness. Mostly a malty and grassy character. Generally unappealing. LinusStick (1855), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

I don’t think that is the case across the pond. To each their own. Aroma was slight. Light malt and caramel. Pour was a flat brown with no head. Taste was flat boring. Light caramel malt, sugar and that’s about it. I know that is the point of low ABV session ales but I’ve had some that are very tasty. This isn’t TheCaptain (559), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Can. Amber pour with foam off white head good carbonation. Pleasant aroma, sweet hops and some scotch malts that blend into the pallet. Smooth and easy drinking with a little bitterness at the end. I like the Morland-Green King stuff and this was right up there. afireinside96 (841), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Bottle from the bitch on Hursfield Road. Amber-ish with a thin head that went quickly. Floral hops kind of thing, enjoyed it a lot more than I would have thought. A decent session beer. joe19612 (702), camberley, Surrey, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Bottle. Loads of sweet malt aroma with plenty of light floral hops. Pours a orange brown colour with a good white head. The flavour starts hoppy with a light malt and leaves with a bit of a sour aftertaste. One of the better Greene King beers.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Big offwhite head does not last, but clings well. Amber body. Light, malty nutty aroma. Deep malty nutty metallic harmonic taste with wooden caramelly notes and subdued fruitiness. Somewhat sweetish. Mid-bodied. Dry, almost tart, aftertaste. Good session beer. (0.5l bottle from Sainsbury’s, London.)
