Nice creamy texture, but still not clear if there’s nitro in there. My best guess is some, but a lower ratio than most nitro beers. Nice crisp herbal hoppy flavor follows all the way through. Apple is prevalent, along with some light woody flavors and a bit of sweet caramel. Very round and smooth, while still maintaining a slight edge. That last sentence makes little sense, but oh well, that’s what it makes me think of. Maybe a little touch ofn a metallic flavor in the back there, but can easily be explained away in the mind by the combination of apple, caramel and floral hops. Quite complex for the style, each flavor with a strong presence, but not explosive and in your face. Well crafted for what it’s supposed to be.

Aroma: Tinny hops, on top of caramalized malts. Taste: Typical ESB flavours, caramel, decent hop bitterness, but with that weird slightly alcoholic skunk flavour I get in a lot of ESB’s. It still has a really nice malt character however, especially in the aftertaste. Very smooth, pleasant mouth-feel. A nice enjoyable brew, nothing spectacular, and I bet it’s better when it hasn’t been imported and sitting on a shelf for who knows how long, but it’s still good. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Nice hop aroma, with some fruitness. Average body, not impressive, some metallic sensation. Strong bitter final, with no aroma. Not interesting. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA

Don’t know how long this was ’aged’ but the result is worth it. Very good. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Bottle (500ml). Poured a bronze with copper highlights and a dense frothy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was malt driven with strong notes of toffee and caramel as well as some brown sugar. Flavor was smooth toffee malts with some caramel, nuts, light bitterness, some very light fruity notes and a pleasant biscuity finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, a watery texture, creamy mouthfeel and a average finish. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA

Pours a clear honey amber with a very small white foamy head that quickly disipates. Aroma of sweet bread and........well thats about it. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Malty flavor with a slight bitter finish. This beer left me wanting something more complex, sort of like watching daytime television. nelsonibarruri (51), Uruguay
