| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Deep copper in colour, thin beige coloured head, light spotty lacing. The aroma is slightly grainy, some caramel malts, apples, light sweetness. The flavour is moderatly sweet, lots of caramel malts, a bit watery, mild floral hops. Moderately bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes mid length, some caramel sweetness. Not bad but not as good as the cask version.
500ml can from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario for $2.50.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Poured from a 500 ml bottle, left a creamy two finger head, which disappeared rather quickly. Smooth, easy to drink, with a hint of pine resin and caramel. I like this beer as a quaffer/session beer. TheOrange (421), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Light orange hue to the brown pour, no head, just some suds. Aroma is nice caramelized malt, just a touch of extra sweetness there. Flavor is very true to the aroma, big caramel malt flavor, heavier and more syrupy then other ESB.s. Finish is a bit long, nice lower carbonation. Not a bad beer. Marsiblursi (1659), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Updated: Jun 9, 2007(Canned) Pours amber to light copper. Malty aroma with notes of toffee, caramel, dark sticky bread, raisins and nuts. Also some fruitiness with a hint of dried fruits and sweet tea. Hops in the background with mostly flower like notes but maybe just a touch of orange too. Syrupy sweet. Malty flavour with toffee, caramel, fruits and a tiny note of roastiness. Light hoppy with some flowers. Rather sweet with notes of raisins, figs and dark bread. No bitterness to talk about, maybe a micro citrusy touch. Mouthfeel is smooth but to a bit sticky, sugary and thin. Tiny salty. Light to medium body. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

It had a very pine resin aroma to it, and the flavour was much of the same. There was quite a bit of an odd maltiness to it. I didnt really enjoy it, but i can’t really pinpoint why.
