Copper pour with a hint of redish rust. Think but lasting, small bubbled, head. Strong aroma of mixed malts and Caramel. Very thick malty taste. Hint of smoked coffee, caramel, bitter choclates, toffee. A good mix of sweet and bitter. Malts overtake the sweetness slightly. Rather good. A bit rich, wouldn’t want to session, but a good find from the local LCBO

Aroma: English grassy hops. Light soapiness. Juicy fruit fermentation esters Appearence: Dark copper with low head formation Flavour: Fruity bready full of yeast esters - strawberry pear and apple. Low diacetyl character. Low hop bitterness low hop aroma. Crystal malt and fruit esters dominate. Mouthfeel: Low carbonation medium full bodied, clings to the palate Overall: Dominating character is fruit fermentation esters and diacetyl (warm fermented and crash cooled?)

500 mL bottle. Orange-brown with a nice foamy beige head. Very malty aroma with a bit of floral hops.Taste is malty also, with a touch of brown sugar. A bit of hops at the end, but not enough to balance the sweetness. Somehow smooth and thin at the same time. Not bad, but there are other bitters I prefer.

Pours amber/gold, medium off-white head fades quickly, decent carbonation. Sweet malty aroma with sharp piney hop notes, flavour strongly malty, well balanced with a little dryness and plenty of depth. Not bad at all.

Can. Poured a Clear red/orange body with thin head. Aroma is malty with some fruit being present but I couldn’t place a finger on many (pear?). Flavor is bitter sweet with decent carbonation. The hops here giving a weird balance to it.
