Light floral nose with a bit of nuttiness and a hint of bitterness. Would like to have on cask someday and I did and it sucked. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 19, 2007 From can: Crystal clear light amber color with small off white head. Aroma is odd, mostly malty, caramel, with typical english esters of pear, cherry, but with an off, burnt smoky note that smells like a cigarette butt. Flavor is malty, note of pear and caramel, with a thin palate, balanced finish. Not all that good, IMO. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Can - 500ml. A nice clear amber copper colored beer with bit of creamy head. Not much of an aroma, smell reminds me of citrusy fruits and my grandmothers christmas cake. Not bad in the taste department, although rather straight forward hoppy flavor and some vague maltness in the background, not really much to talk about here. Mouth feel was nice, creamy, not too carbonated, not watery, pretty good. Not a bad beer in any way, but nothing special either. FROTHINGSLOSH (2019), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was sweet and malty though somewhat faint. The mouthfeel was fairly smooth. The flavor was light sweet and nutty malts with a vague hint of fruity hops and a lightly bitter finish. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 12, 2007 Can - 500ml. Dark amber body with moderate carbonation and a thin but lasting off-white creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with light roasty and oaky notes. Its hoppy taste is well balanced but lacks complexity. It ends with a good bitter finish. Average ESB.
