Clear amber body with tan head of one finger. Aroma of wet hay with some hops. Flavor is very well balanced challenger hops and malted barley with a peppery finish. Mouthfeel is very decent, not too carbonated, not watery. Excellent stuff! probstk (1037), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: clear, medium-light amber with a decent foamy tan head.
Aroma: some floral/resinous hops, a woody, vinous quality, a bit of toffee and malt, a bit of cardboard.
Palate: a bit creamy, med. body, smooth, soft carbonation.
Flav.: licorice, peppery woodiness, a little malt and hops, cardboard and alcohol to finish. Dry with a very slight aftertaste.
Not unpleasant, but certainly unremarkable.

Easy drinking with a touch of sweetness. Average body. Goes down smoothly and is decent if unmemorable. bhensonb (4274), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 6, 2007 Light citrus aroma mixed with light malt. Light coppery color with a white head that laces a bit. Starts with light malt, followed by a slighty musty character, and finishes with fruity hop. Not all that bitter. Mouthfeel approaches medium. It’s quite nice. Decent UK effort; good for resting the palate. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

One of the many average beers I sampled during two weeks there. Brownish-red, small head. Watery, well-balanced and pretty bland. jaymack (3), Oakville, Ontario, Canada does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Feb 5, 2007 From the can, drank at cellar temp.
Enjoyed the toffe/caramel-like aroma. Nice taste, a bit of a creamy feel in the taste. Will purchase again Trooper11 (465), Suffolk, Virginia, USA

Very thin, watery, heavy malty corn syrup, small bitterness. Very light bodied, very dry, like chewing paper. Note enjoyable, now what to do with the rest of this stuff??? At least I can use the bottle for homebrew.
