Can foamed over the edge, widget device in can. Smooth white head with the creaminess the widgets build into the pour. Smooth with a touch of metallic flavor. Brown clear color, malty, but not overpowering with a weak hop note.

A big full flavoured "robust" ale, for me, hops dominate the palate, but it is a tad unbalanced to drink on its own, it perhaps would go down better with a meal, something to match the powerful flavours. Asda.

[bottle from sainburys] pours light brown with a head which doesnt last well. Nose is mainly malty, some caramel notes, but there is something stale, toffee like and unpleasant going on (diacetyl?). body is decent, not a beer i enjoyed.

I found this very hard to drink, the flavour is full but too full for what they are trying to achive. Cask will be different but not one id got for again.

Orange-brown with delicate white head. Some maltyness in the aroma and huge earthy hop tones from english hops. Somewhat roasted with notes of peanut and rubber. Fresh hoppy flavor with notes of cream and maltsweetness. Hoppy finish which grows on you.

This was a very nice Bitter. It was light and had a smooth flavor. Creamy finish and a good malt balance. I would drink another.

Malty and flowery, this bitter is a nice session beer. Creamy and light yet bold enough to keep my interest. A lot like old speckled hen.

Bottle. Amber body with a limp tannish head. Nose is caramel, sweet amlts, light cocoa, tea leaves, hops and ripened fruits. Taste has more hoppiness coming through and more tea notes. Rich fruitiness, relaxed caramel, and mild earthy notes. Body is creamy and smooth. Medium feel and minimal carbonation. Finishes with sweet malts, caramel, light tea leaves, earthy hops and mild fruitiness. Not bad. I’d like to try this on cask!
