Clear amber-orange with a fluffy orange-white head. The clear bottle gave it a bit of skunk, but caramel, grassy, notes are there. Taste is simple, caramel malt, some fruity esters, a finish of grass bittering.

Enjoyed from a 550ml bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a deep copper with no head. The aroma seems to rely heavily on the yeast’s esters. I got pear, apple, and perhaps a little bit of tart cherry. At the same time, the malt is also prevalent; throwing aromas of caramel, toffee, and figs. The flavor is full on the palate, bringing a lot in the way of malty sweetness and fruit. The hops are essentially non-existent, other than potentially playing the role of keeping the malt in relative check. The finish is sweet, which may be the worst aspect of this bee (and its a mild negative, at that). Overall, a vastly underrated and well-crafted English Pale.

50 cl can, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Pale amber caramel colour, subdued spice aroma. Very nice first sip, velvety medium body. Very subtle flavor, extremely drinkable.

Smell is a bit overbearingly skunky. Not too impressed by that. Medium-bodied, but still tastes a little to skunky, nutty, and rotten for my liking.

Can. Deep amber colour with creamy white head. Fruity (apples) and slightly sulphury aroma. Grainy and caramelly malt. Spicy and earthy hops, maybe Styrian or Fuggles. Slightly sweet aroma of fudge and roasted grains. Medium big body with minerally salty and slightly metallic taste. Grainy and toasted malt. Earthy hops balances. Very British.

50cl bottle from Systembolaget. It poured a golden orange colour with a big white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is a bit bitter with notes of yeast, malts, honey grass. Some hops. The flavour is both sweet and bitter at the same time. Notes of malts, some hops and spices. It has a lingering, bitter aftertaste.

Can. The aroma is fruity-malty, light hoppy and light bitter. The head is very small, white and creamy-milky with normal duration. The body is red and lively. The taste is a little bit malty, then it gets bitter and light metallic, also some hops are present. The finish is bitter and long. The Ale has not much carbonation, it is dry and medium strong.
