Aroma is a bit vinegary at first, and yeasty beyond that. Taste is sweet with hints of butterscotch with a slight bitterness in the finish. Very light copper/amber coloring and thin to medium off white head. Butterscotch aftertaste.

500ml bottle. Poured a deep golden orange with a rocky head of foam. Clear and sparkling with an aroma of malt and cor. Tart bitterness to start with but it grows on you as you drink it. Dry aftertaste with a hint of sweet malt.

500 ml can. From Bristol, England. Copper colour with small off-white head. Caramel, malts, fruits and hops in aroma. Flavour is malty, bittery hoppy and caramel sweet. Very nice bitter.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Malty and fruit nose with some roasted, biscuity notes. Sweet, malty and biscuity flavor, quite fruity, and with a fine bitterness. Medium to full body and nicely carbonated. Dry, fruity, decently bitter finish. An easy drinkable beer in the British style, but nothing special about it. (090328)

Aroma has a strong sweet buttery fudge note. Don’t actually pick up anything else from the scent. Dark golden colour woth thin white head. Round and smooth mouthfeel, but somehow watery aftertaste. Some diacetyl, which I dislike. Not too much, though.

Dark pour with rich head. Rotten bread smell translated into a rotten bread taste. A very unpleasant beer.
