Gently malty nose with hints of orange and a developing elderflower note. Thin in the mouth with hop resin dominant over a gentle flowery orange maltiness. Flowery hoppiness in the finish, some low malt sweetness but becoming dry with wind expected from the south later. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2005 Bottled. Shovels of hops here; liquid lemon, dark amber body, began by thinking it was a little too hopped and tart but it settled to a surprisingly good crunchy beer. Keeps on tingling. More like alkie lemonade but I ain’t complaining. Sobchak (131), Skagen, Denmark

Amber colour, aroma of cinnamon and floral hops, lots of citric lemon flavours in mouth with hoppy lemony finish. The fruit I though was a little artificial and there is not enough about the rest of the beer to balance it. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 6, 2005 Hand pulled at the Corner House, Birmingham. Brown beer, with a head that disappeared fairly swiftly. Labelled as containing citrus notes, and for once I agree - there is lime and orange in them thar’ hills. However it’s not generally packed with taste, and it’s rather thin in the mouth. Slightly grainy with a boring finish. Easy drinking, but that not a compliment in this instance.
