Cask at JDW, Heathrow, Term 4. Slight amber with no head. Sour nose. Sour taste and quite watery texture. Didn’t finish it. I wonder if I got a bad batch reading the other ratings...

Draught. Clear brown with some head. Little aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Tangy spicy foretaste with reasonable bitter aftertaste perhaps a little harsh. Nice beer.

[Cask at Oakford Social Club, Reading] Pours amber with a small white head. Smells of sweet malt. Initial flavour of sickly sweet peardrops with just a hint of autumn leaves. Finishes with earth and a hint of bitterness that completely fails to balance the sweetness. Weird… and pretty repulsive.

2008-11-12, Cask Conditioned at J. D. Wetherspoon - The Moon Under Water, London, 4-4-4-2-9=23
Copper color with a thin head and nice lace. Plain Bitter, medium-low bitterness, and a quite disturbing metallic flavor and final. Poor.

2008-11-03, Cask Conditioned at J.D. Wetherspoon - Penderel’s Oak, London, 5-3-5-3-10=26
Some caramel flavor with light residual sweetness, light paper aroma, correct bitterness, lightly metallic finish. Too simple.

Cask at The Grid Inn, Southfields during "Spoons Fest in a Day" crawl, 2nd Nov 08. Clear amber with a lively, lacy head. Light & drinkable palate. Quite nutty malt taste. You can tell it is a GK beer. Ok, but not inspiring.
