| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes, in Wetherspoons Festival ’08. Amber with a small white head. Odd aroma, vegetal, sweet and spicy. The same sort of thing in the taste. At the end a little sourness leads into a mid bitter finish. To be perfectly honest I quite liked it. Slightly sweet malty nose with some faint estery notes. Dusty malt flavour with a fruity bite on the finish and a very faint lick of bitterness. Typically bland and unimaginative offering from GK. fonefan (11891), VestJylland, Denmark

Best bitter but with an autumnal edge - crystal malt. Malt is a little greasy, but an OK beer. For some reason I can’t remember I got quite excited about this and urged others to try it - but everyone just sipped it and shrugged, saying it was just an ordinary British bitter. cgreb (180), Marburg, Germany
