Tangy spicy foretaste with reasonable bitter aftertaste perhaps a little harsh. Nice beer. Ethereal (1599), London, Greater London, England

Clear amber with a lively, lacy head. Light & drinkable palate. Quite nutty malt taste. You can tell it is a GK beer. Ok, but not inspiring. oh6gdx (9104), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is fudge, some hops and mild notes of yeast. Interesting hopcombination in the aroma. Flavour is fruity and sour woodenness along with some mild grassyness. hughie (3086), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

Odd aroma, vegetal, sweet and spicy. The same sort of thing in the taste. At the end a little sourness leads into a mid bitter finish. To be perfectly honest I quite liked it. Best bitter but with an autumnal edge - crystal malt. Malt is a little greasy, but an OK beer. For some reason I can’t remember I got quite excited about this and urged others to try it - but everyone just sipped it and shrugged, saying it was just an ordinary British bitter.
