Cask at JDW, Heathrow, Term 4. Golden amber body with slight head. Eggy nose. Eggy and malty flavours. Not very good. Just too watery and uninspired.

Some hop and malt aromas. Golden coloured hoppy floral and fruity with a crisp and slightly dry full malt finish.

Nov 15, 2009 Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Amber with a thin white head. Stars and stripes logo on pumpclip and mention of cascade in the festival programe suggested that this could be something different from GK. WRONG!!!!

Nov 12, 2009 Cask @ JDW Southport. A clean, crisp beer in the ’Golden’ style. I liked the aftertaste, which I’m not sure how to describe. I got hops and some pleasant yeastiness in the mouth. I wasn’t impressed with this beer at the start but it grew on me. Had it not been compeing with some excellent competition @ JDW’s beer festival I may have rated it more highly.

Nov 9, 2009 Cask in the new crown, southgate. Alround rating: Green king apply yeast, citrusy, bit of caramel, fairly balanced, lemon seems to be showing. Not bad.

Clean dark gold with a decent off white head. All downhill from here sadly. bready, fruity, not much happening. Christ on a bike I really can’t be bothered. Had worse but it’s just a masterpiece of mediocrity. Crap.
