Cask @ The Museum, Sheffield.
Pours clear golden with a small, frothy, white head. Okay duration. Very weak aroma, some perfume and lemons. Low carbonation, weak mouthfeel. Flavour is citric tart, soapy, almost no hops, just doughy sweet malts. imdownthepub (5084), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jun 29, 2009 Cask conditioned at The Easington, Banbury. Orange gold with white head. What is it with the G.K process that keeps producing the same taste? Supposedly different hops, but there it is that chemical tea like taste with a tart fruity background. Unfortunately for Lawrence not very good, unlike himself of course. Pale orange, small spongy head. Fruity, apple, and sulphurous aroma - very Greene King - some sharpness and nettles too. Very fruity taste - tons of apple, then a bit sour and watery. Salty and chemical finish - with loads more green apple. Odd. Quite hard to finish. The best thing about this beer is that I donated 5p to charity by buying it. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Jun 16, 2009 Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale grainy malts, green kings apple yeast, sweet and boring. Exactly what i expected.
