Shiny amber, nice creamt offwhite head. Metallic aroma at first, hoppy but also fruity from pear and some grape. Hay and with some floral notes. Flavor is fruity with hoppy notes, grapes and with a hoppy finish with metallic notes. Underrated here if you ask me...

Bottle. Dark brown and ruby in colour. Aromas are nuts, metal and citrus with fruit and malts. Flavours are malty with some burnt character. Citrus hops follow with grapefruit bitterness on the finish. A little thin on the palate. Average stuff.

Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml. Velvety red colour with short head. Pleasant fruity aroma leading to a full bodied beer with fruit and nut hints. There is a harshish dry bitter note with a distinctive dry tea taste, little citric lemon for me. The beer does mellow out, but the unfortunate GK signature hop taste pulls it back.

Bottle (from Sainsburys BBE Jun 06). Aromas of nutty malts and floral almost citric hops clash sliightly. Improves in the body with a delicate hop finish neatly balancing chewy malts.
