The flavor is sweet and very hoppy. A very easily drinkable ale - no wonder Green King markets this beer as they do. It is an OK refreshing ale - but nothing special. Strongly hoppy nose, and hop-aromatic all the way through without being bitter. More sweet actually. The label claims this beer tastes like melon - well, maybe so... 140604 omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

Sweet and somewhat thin with clean mouthfeel and low-medium bitterness. A boring beer with an industrial feel to it. fonefan (11888), VestJylland, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2006 (750ml clear bottle) Crystal clear apple juice body topped by medium white head that mostly diminishes. Initial aroma is skunky, grassy. Once it has a chance to breathe, the skunk gives way to grassy/citrus, some cereal. Taste is medium sweet, grassy, cereal, some fruitiness (melon, apricot), citrus, caramel, light herbal. Light-medium body, light syrup, fairly dry finish. Getting past the initial aroma revealed a fairly decent beer.
