[Cask at The Crown, Sheringham] Amber, slight white head. Snooth mouthfeel, possibly a little too cloying for a session bitter by the end. Fruity with some sulphur. Heaps better than the bland "Smooth" keg variant, but still pretty forgettable.

cask at white hart boxford. clear amber colour. lacking in body and taste. Came with the option to be out of a sparkler. seriously poor example of a real ale.

Cask@Beer Hunters. Clear amber color, steady off-white head. Metallic, English hoppy nose. A bit thin mouthfeel - but this is of course only 3.6 % ... nutty hoppy. Light bitterish bite, nutty hops. Lacks on the malt side. Boring but not as hopeless as 2.47 on RB indicates.

Weak hops and grass aroma. dark amber colour with soft beige head. Mild bitter hops flavour. Low carbonation.

Cask @ George, Great Portland St Insipid, boring bitter with a soapy aftertaste.

Pint on tap, Night and Day pub, Russell Square. Dark ruby colour, clear, with a tiny and loosely packed head. Just as flat as all other English beer. As it is sold as an IPA, that, funnily enough is what I was expecting. Instead I got what both looked and tasted exactly like an English bitter. Appalling, in other words, on both counts. There are some slight hoppy notes, and a niggling odd fruity flavour that doesn’t sit well with the rest of the beer. Very poor. I hereby vow that henceforth the only brewed beverage from England I shall drink will be cider. Their beer is shocking.

On cask at the Waggon and Horses in Newmarket. A step above the bottled version. Decent enough hops, just nothing special.
