Mild fruity hops and malt aroma. Flavour is dry and bitter with a distinct dry malt base and a mild fruity accent. Dry and bitter. Ends this way with a mild classic pilsner bitterness. asheft (1438), Marburg, Germany

Very nice Goldings aroma with a touch of pine-laden toffee. Clear dark amber with long-lasting, clingy white flanel blanket. Surprisingly complex for such a small beer: nutty and apple-y malt with some tobacco/raisin and rounded, subtle bitterness. Very quaffable! JK54B (951), Helsinki, Finland

Some hops on the nose but nothing much. The taste is wet hay. Admittedly the pint was served chilled, but this has nowhere enough taste to deserve the IPA badge. Quite watery. Orange, loose head. Weak smell - something nasty and sulphurous, as expected from GK. Thin body, very weak taste. Waste of water. zach8270 (2129), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is almost non-existent, but what I could smell was sweet and yeasty. Flavor was very weak as well. Some bitterness and malt near the beginning that disappeared quickly and left a bitter aftertaste. Not a fan. evilempire (122), sheffield, South Yorkshire, England

It has neither the strength, nor the hops, this doesn’t survive the journey to the end of the road, let alone India. but whatever the name, it’s still dross, weak, watery, thin, slightly sweet, how they bribed/fudged/whatever their way to CBOB runner up (and then pretended they’d won) is beyond me. another brewer now boycotted, for several reasons Jonte (827), Gothenburg, Sweden
