I really tried to be open minded with this, but this really is pants. Plasticine hop aroma, that improves somewhat in the mouth, but it lacks flavour. It has the hallmarks of the lower strength IPA, but souped up a bit. Hop bite on end is attractive. Thinnish in mouth. Some rose petal fruit on aroma. Some nutty malt. If it wasn’t for the hop bite on the end, then this would be very dull. I had this with Asahi lager, Badger First Gold and Fullers 1845 and this was the worst of the bunch. faroeviking (6127), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Bottle. From LIVA, Domhusvej, Kolding. Pours a clear amber with lots of bubbles reaching up to a small creamy off-white head.Aroma has caramel mixed with a little bitterness. Flavour is sweet, but with a peppery burning hops note. Not the longest aftertaste, nor the craziest regular taste. But it is nice, medium bitter, quite sweet and very fresh. I like it despite its mediority.
