Copper-amber brown color, small white head. Caramelly and skunky hoppy nose. Toffeish, nutty hoppy, slightly skunky and hoppy. Hints of metal. Decent English pasteurised bitter which is only 3,6 %. Similar to some Shepherd Neame’s products. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2007 The beer pours from the can a modestly hazy dark gold to amber color with a smallish bright white creamy head that settles quickly leaving a patchy bit of lace. Nose has a ripe lime crispness, backed by malt, very little hop aroma, start has a decent malt presence, tangy at the back, light to moderate in feel at the top. Finish has a pleasant acidity, hops mild but pleasing, a bit of a paradox this beer, “IPA or Bitter”, nonetheless, drinkable, nice change from the “Big Hopped” IPA’s I normally drink, quite dry aftertaste. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden

Flavor is mild malty with a great lack of bitterness. OK it’s very low in abv, but why call it an IPA? What’s next – non-alcoholic IPA? It’s not supposed to be like that. This beer is weak on malt and hops even compared to a bitter. gunnfryd (3601), Kristiansand, Norway
