Thin beige head over a clear, and for the style, well carbonatied orange/brown body. Mild, floral hop aroma along with some light malty and caramellish scents. Taste is malty-sweet with a relatively low hop presence. Light-bodied. Smooth and a bit watered down mouthfeel. Gentle hops in the finish. NobleSquirrel (1120), Chicago, Illinois, USA

But, at the same time, lets you really pound it. went through an imperial pint quite fast. Nice, but nothing to write home about... tarjei (1755), Bryne, Norway
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 3, 2007 660 ml bottle. Amber color, moderate off-white head. Sweet malt, dry aftertaste, thin. Not my kind of IPA. DruncanVeasey (2753), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England

Strangely briny flavour utterly inappropriate to the style. Isn’t labellng this rancidly cabbagey malt confection an IPA technically illegal? It most certainly should be. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 19, 2007 Bottle, dark amber with a large off-white head. Strong pungent caramel malt aroma, not appertising. Not a whole lot better in the mouth, astringent and dirty malt characters. Some hoppiness, but bland and fizzy. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | May 5, 2007 500ml can: Pours a fiery amber with a nitro-like head. Surprisingly little carbonation in the body though. The nose is lightly hopped with fruit esthers (apple and peach) really dominate. The body is thin, with some caramel and honey notes, followed by an inkling of grassy hops. Not an IPA, not even a decent bitter. Pass on this one unless you are looking for easy drinking lawnmower beer. ghawener (964), San Salvador, El Salvador
