Aroma of aged citrus rind and rotted malts. Light nectar w/ watery reudual effers. Dry bitter, little flavor. A perfect English pub style IPA. Finish is bittered and short on flavor. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 18, 2007 Pours with little head, amber color. Light, delicate hop characteristic with a smooth malt flavor, but with a very watery mouth feel. Not all too exciting. MPA (487), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 16, 2007 Bottle. Amber with off head. Fruit, malt, caramel and citrus in aroma. Malty flavour with some hops but not very floral. Sweet with a light touch of citrus and some bitterness going out. As ordinary as a Tuborg or a Hof though different in style (still no where near an IPA). harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2007 500ml can. Look this was on the bargain shelf of Sainsbury’s as a single can ok? I couldn’t not buy it could I? Crystal clear copper colour with lasting off white head. GK yeast and nuttiness on aroma. Bit of earthy hop and caramel. More thin caramel in mouth. Some hop on end, but mostly the beer has this thin caramel flavour. It’s not horrible, but nor is it interesting, with only a vague hop presence. Bit thin and watery. johndoughty (2156), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Bottle. Browny orange with so little hop presence its a crime to call it an IPA. Despite this it has a resonable body. Not the worst beer I have drunk by a long way but one I would only recommend to someone lacking in taste buds. faroeviking (6067), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 28, 2007 Light amber colour. Weak hoppy aroma. Weak hops and malt in the flavour. Weak beer, does not really taste like an IPA. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 17, 2007 500ml can from Knightly Spirits, Orlando. The size of the can is the pleasant thing I can say about this. Pours a dirty light amber with a creamy light beige head, fading back into the body quickly. Very mild hop aroma is stale, sweet malts seem to be grasping on for dear life. Flavor is even worse, barely anything detectable beyond the musty light malt character, maybe a little lemon rind and beano. A bitter such as this is better suited for clubs than good beer stores, so I tried it and never reordered it. This breweries’ exported products are horrid.
