Jul 17, 2006 Canned. Acopper/amber coloured beer with practically no aroma certainly no hops, just a certain tinniness. The taste has some malt and a touch of bitterness. It tastes like a 4 for £1 supermarket bitter.

Jul 14, 2006 Can. Pale brown colour, thick white toffee head. Strong flowery hops in the aroma, maybe some burned malt. Too bitter for my taste. Pluspoints for the sweeter aftertaste. Feels extremely dry in the mouth.

Jun 18, 2006 Bottle. Nice head with ok duration. Color is amber. Aroma is not very strong but is vaguely hoppy. Taste is mostly hops (but weak for an IPA).

Jun 9, 2006 Poured golden pale light orange, a bit more colored than an American macro (but not much). Head was nice and fluffy with a nice show of little carbonation bubbles, but the lacing didn’t follow as well. The aroma was a mixture of wet dog, grass, and a rosey-spicey type scent - odd and couldn’t place it. The flavor, was watered down, somewhat of a session ale, but with a really weak mouthfeel. I don’t need hop craziness, but this isn’t even an English Pale Ale, let alone an IPA. Coulda told me it was a pale lager, and I would have believed.

May 29, 2006 (500 ml can: $2.29 at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, CA) Yeesh, not a whole lot going on with this beer. It has a thin and watery body, a flat and lifeless mouthfeel, a gentle hop bitterness, and a lightly nutty maltiness. Not very flavorful and not very good. And oh yeah, it tastes a bit metallic in the finish too. About the only thing I like with this beer is the nutty aroma. The body is clear copper in color, but the off-white head is small on the pour, soon fading to a thin ring. Blah, won’t buy this beer again, that’s for sure!
