| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Great smell bodes well for this stylish IPA, but the taste is no where bitter enough, not distinct enough nor fresh enough. hughie (3079), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 5, 2006 Poor on tap, this is marginally worse out of a can. Colour is amber with a small head. Very little aroma; perhaps a little malt as it warmed. The flavour has a little toffee sweetness and, if you really search for it, some hopiness. But it’s really rather dull and it doesn’t seem worth the effort of drinking half a litre of this watery brew. GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 24, 2006 [bottled from ASDA] The aroma has is sweet, toffee-like and toasty in a sort of weird nasty way, like wychwood burnt toast smell. thin body, minimal finish. larsga (2980), Oslo, Norway
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 23, 2006 Medium creamy light beige head with a rash of larger bubbles. Chestnut brown body. Sweetish malty nutty aroma with hints of smoke. Taste is again nutty and sweetish, softly bitter aftertaste. A kind of metallic taste lingers which at first I found unpleasant, but which I got used to after a while. Well. Not enough taste, very little aroma hops. This is more like a weak bitter than an IPA, IMHO. HenrikSoegaard (4395), Randers, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Boring beer. Just OK aronma and flavor. Nothing near an IPA as the bottle announces. Very watery. Avoid. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 11, 2006 Bottle. White head. Clear amber body. Sticky hay aroma. Flavor, well this is not my idea of an IPA. You just get a short kick of hops but the first impression is that it is much too sweet. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 6, 2006 16 oz can. Copper color to maple, with a light white head that sticks around. Sweet malt and maple aroma (no hop presence – as you might expect). Flavors of crystal malt, lightly spicy English hops. Earthy and woody (bark) finish. Light molasses or maple hints. Lightly watery body with a bit of slickness. JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 30, 2006 Cask. Amber coloured with slim white head. Hoppy aroma. Light hops malt and caramel in the taste. Thin bodied. Average and inoffensive I suppose; but they ought to be sued for calling it an IPA.
