False advertising! This is not an IPA. Not worth the price ($10 a 4 pint pack). I can definitely consider it somewhat like a bitter or a pale ale, but it’s lacking so much in flavor that I thought it was some sort of lager. Better than Budweiser, perhaps, but no IPA and not really that good of a bitter. I was also hoping this one would have a CO2 widget, which it didn’t.

I find it remarcably hard to believe they classify this as an ipa, i have doubts if there is more hops in this than even the least hopiest, in style, of any of thier beers. Aroma of caramel malt, very one dimentional. Taste is similar with some rasin sweetness, though not offputting, as i have no problem finishing the bottle. Just has nothing going for it really.

This bitter pours an amber gold color from a 500ml can. Medium sized white, tight fizzy head. Aroma is caramel, raisins and sweet. A light to medium bodied bitter. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are sort of mild, perhaps a little spicy. Kind of bland and uninteresting. Drinkable, but why bother. Silk Tork review of “Lacks character, but is quite inoffensive.” sums it up perfectly. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

500ml can. Nice fresh aroma and a thin bubbly head that quickly disappears, unfortunately taking with it the carbonation. Easy to drink with a fair bit of flavour for the low ABV. Can’t go wrong with crisp First Gold hops. Quite citrusy but a bit light, with only the tangy finish bringing to life. It’s not a great beer but pleasant enough and the low ABV means you can have two for the price of one, as it were. I’ve had the cask version and it was quite floral and a lot tangier than the canned version. Almost unrecognisable. Shame.

Gee another crappy English ale. Sampled from a 16.9 oz can this beer poured a bronze color with a huge tan head that lingered. The aroma is grassy and peppery. The flavor is tangy, grassy and peppery. The finish is tangy and dry. Sadly the appearance was the only noteworthy part of this beer.

Lot of taste and low on alcohol. Have problems to classify this as an IPA. Nice looking bottle found in Blå Rock Café, Tromsø, Norway. KI=6

66 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma of grass, caramel and fruit. Very light flavour of malt and fruit, that ends up with a hoppy finish and with a light body. Overall very dull.
