| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2005 I thought... IPA in a Can... No Way! Turns out I was right. A mild english bitter with no real hops or alcohol kick. That’s fine, it wasn’t bad, but please... label it appropriately. From what I can tell this beer has no issues from the container, which is what prompted me to try it. iammadeofjelly (183), Liverpool, Merseyside, England

Looks good in a glass, goes down well. try it! EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 29, 2005 Traditional 500 ml can (definately not nitro), pours amber with slight chill haze. Head is adequate but short lived. Taste is clean and crisp but watery, good quality hops evident but in short supply. Decent bitterness but malt is not forward. Not a bad example of a British bitter but this really shouldn’t be called an IPA. Alcohol and hops are far too low for the style. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2005 Can. Light amber color with white head that faded somewhat quickly. Mostly biscuity malt on the nose with some subtle earthy hoppiness and a slight metallic tinge. Flavor follows. Lightish body. Smooth, almost flat carbonation, somewhat watery-- a result of the can maybe. Clean, dry finish. Fairly representative of an English pale; by no means an IPA in the American micro vein. Crisp and refreshing, but nothing special. DuffMan (2770), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2005 Updated: Sep 7, 2009660ml bottle. Deep clear orange, flowery hops and toffee aromas. Palate leans much more toward malt with a hint of hop suppoet. More watery than I recalled, and less complex. Needs a lot more in the hop department to be called an IPA-- and an ABV of 3.6%??? shoestring (187), larkhall, Scotland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2005 looked wonderful. lovely colour and head when poured. however initial mouthfeel had an obvious tinny quality. it did grow on me as i drank bottle, began to enjoy it...would have liked another after it to check it out further. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 12, 2005 Can - Clear orange, thin white creamy head. Nose was bland butterscotch and toffee, with light metallic and earthy hop notes coming in late. Light grainy butterscotch flavors are prevalent throughout, but it’s backed (kind of) by light hop tones to remain balanced. That might be the only good thing about it. The balance. Anyway, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, lightly bittersweet finish. Hmmm...might have tasted better had been from my own can...if you know what I’m sayin. This stuff was not good. Period. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2005 (on 500ml. bottle)lasting white head, rusty-golden colour. The aroma is kind of toffeeish...and then then some yoghurt?, strange I thought for an IPA. Flat ryebreadtate, dry mouthfeel and a metallic bitterness. Coulden´t qiuite make this one out. It´s not bad, but here on RB it´s labeled as a "bitter" although I thought it was a traditionael British IPA? Haven´t had many of those so I guees it´s OK.
