Smooth like most English ales. A little weaker than it could have been but still quite drinkable. Buttery, malty, and only slightly bitter which I find strange for an ale called an IPA. Aroma is caramel and resin hops. Color is a dark amber and has a wonderful large head. Aftertaste is a little sour.

Copper. Frothy, off-white head. Not much aroma. Not much taste. Medium body. Dry aftertaste. Definitely not an IPA. Very drinkable. Not bad at all, but at the same time not good, either. Would pair excellent with extremely spicy food, the kind that’s hot enough where you don’t have a chance to really enjoy your beer.

(in large 660 ml bottle) Hardly any head on a dark yellow body. Tastes like an IPA, but not exciting at all. It a slightly under-average beer, good only for average consumption, but not exceptional; far from that. Quite ordinary.

Not a great but not bad at all. But for the style, as a real IPA, not an American IPA it’s probably a little south of par. I took a few sips out of the can before going into the glass, and to be honest it tastes better from the can, I guess it calls to my inner soccer hooligan. The malt is almost too English, the hops are sluggish and only give a dry finish. However, if I needed a session beer that I could just crush during sporting events or judicial proceedings I think this would due.

Amazing this thing even gets an average of 1 or better. Lots of rotten skunk and nothing else going on with this. Might be the quickest drainpour ever.

Can from Pailhead. What a dissapointment. Medium amber colored. Lacking in aroma, flavor and palate. Complete absence of malt or hop. Poor effort.

Can: Smells like rotten applesauce with some light caramel. Pours and orangish-amber with a small soapy white head. Virtually no initial flavor. Has a real bad metallic apple hop finish. Absolutely awful and the lone downer in an otherwise very good night of tasting. I would prefer to drink Cave Creek Chili Beer if that gives anyone an idea of how much I dislike this beer.

This is surely an IPA from the motherland of IPA’s sorry to say but Brøckhouses IPA is still the best i’ve ever tastet. But a complex taste a bit of hops but not enough the bitternes is fine but flavour and aroma isn’t. Low alkohol (3,6%) and that gives it a thin watery taste. The aftertaste is like a Carlsberg (and thats not a comliment)
