This was a standard IPA without any extra special flavor like a microwbrewery in the US may do. It is therefore old school style with standard hoppiness for an IPA and being from England. My buddy got a cheap case of the big bottles.

Red in colour, medium head. Too hoppy and bitter for my taste, but tem most IPAs are that. Not something I want to try again.

Deep amber with modest light tan head with good lacing. Minimal carbonation. Nice hoppy aroma, medium bitterness, light, sweet malts. Mild dry bitter finish. Would like to try the English pub version. Pretty darn nice drinker. Not worth the $4.39 US price. Even though it is slightly more than a pint bottle.

Lata, 500 ml, junho/2008.

I’ve had much better IPA’s than this but this is simply an average beer. It’s not bad. It’s not great. It’s a little watery, but not nearly as bad as Coors light. It’s a good all-around beer that I would consider a British domestic. It’s better than American domestics but can’t hang with the good stuff.

500 mL can from Market Street Wineshop in Charlottesville, Downtown location. Red pour with a medium sized head. Decent retention, low lacing. Fruity, appley, grainy aroma with no bitterness. Same with the taste. This tastes very much like a dry cider to me. Subtle bitterness at the end. Watery, metallic.
