The flavor is flat, watery and only slightly bitter for an IPA, but from a very nice hops. I will not categorize this beer as an IPA - because of the lacking bitterness. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 6, 2004 Clean amber color. No hop aroma: grass, caramel, sugar. Too light and poor mouthfeel, just some malt and the necessary bitterness. Easy drink; not at all an IPA! TBone (6844), Pori, Finland

Copper-amber brown color, small white head. Caramelly and skunky hoppy nose. Toffeish, nutty hoppy, slightly skunky and hoppy. Hints of metal. Decent English pasteurised bitter which is only 3,6 %. Similar to some Shepherd Neame’s products.
