Bottle 50cl @ chris_o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.
Clear medium yellow color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly dimnishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. aroma is wood, some hops and mild citricness. Also a slight metallic ege to it. Flavour is malts, some rather harsh flowery hops and not much else. Grassy bitterness in finish.

Bottle @ Beer Exposed, September 2008.
Pours clear yellow-golden with a small, creamy, white head. Good duration. Aroma has pine and light doughy malts. Some oranges as well. Light creamy mouthfeel, a bit thin with medium carbonation. Flavour is mild and malty, light citric and pine hops. Dull, but far better than on cask.

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - transparent bronze colour, no foam left; very citrusy, flowery aroma; high carbonation hiding a poor malt body; fizzy fruity finish - dubious

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised. From Tesco in Banbury. Gold with slight head, dull. Thin, slightly watery beer but with the GK signature hop flavour, a mix between wet cardboard and fag ends. There are a few citric notes that struggle through but on the whole it is a fairly poor brew. Unfortunate.

Bottle @ chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty and slightly hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruity falvor with some weak hints of hops. Has a sweetish fruity finish.

Bottled. A golden coloured dead looking beer. The aroma is reminiscent of stale lager with some cardboard thrown in., but then there is a citricity or a watermelon note. The taste is watery until a pleasant orange and lemon flavour kick in. A bizarre beer of contrasts. Some very good notes and some pretty crap notes.
