Poured dark burnt copper with a decent sized, dense, frothy, lightly tanned head which lasted very well. Aroma was of honey coated cereal with banana’s, chocolate, buttery caramel, vanilla oak and a subtle fruitiness of tangerines. Flavor was a mild, earthy hop bitterness with rich toffee, roasted hazelnuts, chocolate, caramelized dates, sultana’s, dried pineapple and a woody finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, chewy texture and a good finish. cluny6 (115), Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England
