Very nice malt aroma with tones of fudge, toffee, honey, light caramel, light coffee and tiny chocolate like roast. Fruity with dark, dried fruits upfront but also some apricot and oranges. Also rather vinous with notes of oak, vanilla, grapes and other berries. Nice, balanced flavour with a sourish fruity sting, mostly oranges but also soma darker fruits and berries. Also hints of chocolate, vanilla and some oak wood like notes. Light to medium bitter. The aroma promises more then the flavour delivers. Medium body. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Hazy mahoganey. Creamy tan head. Has a bretty sour aroma, with some dry mineral water. First part of taste is sour brett. But overall it is a light flavor. It seems a bit oaky, like a rich brown ale with a lot of the sweetness taken up by the brett... I don’t know... it is pretty good but lacks depth. MIBRomeo (1966), Wisconsin, USA
