| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear deep brown, with a thick head that fades. Strong malt aroma, with a mix of caramel and raisins. Interesting, you can almost pick out the two beers. It has the heavy, slightly sour flavor of the aged ale. But, there is a crisp, almost lager like freshness to the beer. Very unique and pleasant. Intriguing flavor and refreshing. Goba (63), Brazil
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 1, 2009 The nice forming and consistent beige foam, along with the copperish body had me going, but I encountered more caramel than I wanted, and less fruit flavors than expected for me. The alcoholic touch was nice, but hops and malts didn’t made more than average in this one. The tiny sour feel came very nice, though. Nice beer. PMgep (71), Lund, Sweden
