The flavor didn’t disappoint; it followed the nose in hop flavor. A slight astrigency in the end, but overall a good beer. maeib (4745), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Cask conditioned - handpump - Six Bells Farnham. A light golden coloured beer with loads of citric hops in both the aroma and the taste. This is an excellent cask ale reminding me of good beers from Roosters brewery. If this had won silver at CBOB rather than the IPA I could have believed it. rauchbier (3002), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2003 Bottled. Amber, thin white and shortlasting head, moderate condition. Hop and fruit with slight skunkiness in the nose, good blend of hop and fruity malt in the mouth and a long dry lingering hop finish.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 25, 2003 Another of the ubiquitous summer ales that everyone does these days. A well-made example, not as pale in colour as some, more a pale orangey colour. The usual fruity/flowery tones, but nicely bitter on the finish, giving it the refreshing character that was no doubt intended. Handpump, Greene King Brewery Tap, May 2003

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2004 I tasted this beer from a bottle. The expiry date was just expired. Nice amber color with no head. Nose – Hops and barley. Flavor – Nice balance, clearly hoppy, but also some malt and fruity and indeed citrus. Nice bitterness. Overall a very nice summer ale of Green King. You might taste that this beer is family of Green King IPA, I guess the use the same yeast for this beer. A good ale, surprisingly nice from the bottle. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2003 Standard ale appearance with a strong English hopped aroma and a very bitter and very hopped flavour. Overall a basic English ale which has a very bitter taste, but OK. Ungstrup (15336), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2003 A beutiful orange beer with a small head. The aroma is very faint but fresh with notes of fruit. The flavor is lovely dominated by fruityness. You taste the aroma hops more than you smell it. It is very flowery on the tongue and end on a fruity but insisting bitterness. nigos (620), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 16, 2003 Light summery citrus and peach nose. Bronze hue with a fast disappating head. Largely hopped body, nice citrus tones and flowery finish. A decent summer ale.
