Commercial Description: Cask; Seasonal - November to March. Golden bitter, hops used late in brew are Perle and Cascade giving a pleasant hoppy afer taste, light sweet after taste.
Cask (handpump) at The Top Lock, Heapey, Lancashire, December 2007. Amber colour with a thin off-white head. A little hazy. Quite citric aroma. Fair amount of dry malt on the palate with a strong bitter tang. Dry and clean on the palate. The aftertaste has a prominent sharp astringency. A decent drinking drop.
