fonefan (5547), Ulfborg, Denmark Nov 15, 2008 Bottle @ TFODRBSG 2008, Ulfborg, Denmark
Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light toffe. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (230808) yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 29, 2008 Bottle, kindly shared by plovmand. A clear golden beer with a small, off-white head. Cereals and caramel in the aroma, as well as some fruit. Quite weak. The flavor is much the same, but also has some bitterness, especially in the finish. Quite thin body. I was thinking I needed to rerate it, but judging from the other ratings, it doesn’t seem so. Utterly boring, and so less interesting than their other beers. (080823) Maria (4761), Thisted, Denmark Sep 11, 2008 TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Plovmand. It’s warm golden and the aroma has notes of dusty hops, that seems kind of harsh. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt and dusty, slightly harsh hops. It’s drinkable, but thin and out of balance. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, thanks a bunch Plovmand! Clear amber, short head. Bit sweet malty and grainy aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour of mild toasty malt and grains with some cardboard caramel. Not that good. plovmand (777), Helsinge, Denmark Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel and sweet grainy malt. Flavour is pretty thin with caramel in front.
