liinis (506), Finland Jul 3, 2008 very pale gold with small white head. a bit stingy weird flavor. understandable though for the ingredients. I’d be happy have even this beer if I had the allergy.. but lots of R&D has to be done to make a good beer gluten free.
fonefan (5547), Ulfborg, Denmark Nov 30, 2008 Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (100908) tlind2 (342), Helsinki, Finland Oct 25, 2008 500 ml bottle. Pale golden color, frothy white head. Dry fruity aroma, much like sparkling wines. Strange white wine taste with a slightly dry finish. Medium carbonation, light body. This was a very unpleasant beer that brought to mind a piss-poor watered down sparkling wine. I poured half of the bottle down the drain, which is nearly a first. If I want a gluten free beer, I’ll go with Laitilan Kukko. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear pale golden with a tall and very lively white head that dissipates rather quickly though. Strange and tart aroma - almost cider-like. Thin and watery, no malt, chemical and synthetic with a somewhat astringent finish. Very odd. 100908 yespr (7788), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 11, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a collapsing fluffy white head. Citric and herbal flat aroma. Citric and flat flavoured. Citric finish. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Sep 10, 2008 Bottle, 4.7%. Weak fruity and citric aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small bubbly white head. OK citric and fruity flavour, not unpleasant. Hnit of green apple and white wine. Too high carbonation.
