ucusty (1241), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 11, 2007 wowo this ages great found this in my dadswine cooler must be 5 years old. thin airy head with light spotty lacing. coffee, smokey malts. finish’s clean brownaler (375), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA Apr 16, 2004 I hope I got a bad keg because, this is one of the worst stouts I've had. Has a hint of smoke in the flavor, but the body is as thin and fizzy as club soda. argo0 (6284), Washington DC, USA Mar 7, 2004 (draft) Clear mahogany body topped by beige head. Aroma is sweet coffee. Taste is bittersweet coffee, some herbal bitter. Medium body. Pleasant, "accessible" stout, with that unusual herbal twist. proc (343), Dearborn, Michigan, USA Aug 22, 2003 Pours out to the usual, dark color of the style with next to no head. Aroma is that of roasted malt and not much else. Taste is good, albeit it someone average. It is a bit on the thin side without a ton of oomph that many stouts give. This would be a good stout to give to someone jumping up from Guinness.
dberger624 (1029), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 11, 2003 Bottled. Average stout. Nothing really stood out. Tasted what it should be.
