Apr 16, 2003 Dark hue with a nice oat/malt aroma. Smooth flavor domintated by oats with a lightly roasted espresso undertone. Very smooth, tastey maltedness. Finishes somewhat thin with a touch of bitterness.

Dec 27, 2002 Nice sweet stout. More coffee notes than chocolate. Smooth, fresh and creamy with medium body. Great on tap or in the bottle.

Oct 14, 2002 For a place that brews their own stout, this was good! It was very smooth and creamy, and quite enjoyable. I have to dissagree with the below comment, because most of us are used to commercial stout, this was actaully brewed their and served their. So as far as fresh goes, it was about as fresh a stout as one can get. I liked it.
