Smooth flavor domintated by oats with a lightly roasted espresso undertone. Very smooth, tastey maltedness. Finishes somewhat thin with a touch of bitterness. It was very smooth and creamy, and quite enjoyable. I have to dissagree with the below comment, because most of us are used to commercial stout, this was actaully brewed their and served their. So as far as fresh goes, it was about as fresh a stout as one can get. I liked it. DocKozzak99 (143), Tampa, Florida, USA
