Jun 1, 2003 Lager color, gets a good head. Light aroma. "Blonde" is a deceptive label--it covers everything from insipid swill like this to Westvelteren's Blond.

Oct 20, 2002 Updated: May 18, 2003This is a typical Blond Ale. It is nothing exceptional. Although the first time I sampled it, the beer was incredibly wheaty/yeasty, the subsequent two times have yielded an ordinary Blond Ale that's not worthy of further comment. Contract brewed by Chelsea Brewing. It is likely very much like Chelsea's Checker Cab Blonde Ale.
