Very pale yellow. Snappy, papery bitterness dominates. Also bit floral. This is a German Style Pils with maize notes. Crisp but boring.

Jul 2, 2004 the only style american brewers seem to have less idea with than hefeweizens is pilsners. this was so sweet, slightly citric, and tasted like melted lemonade iceblocks. why do american brewers make so many bitter beers but forget about bitterness when they´re making pilsners? the mind boggles

Jun 1, 2003 It has an aroma, even if it is of wet cardboard, raw chicken, and sausage casings. Flavor not much different. At least it wasn't overcarbonated.

Oct 20, 2002 Sharp and fairly crisp. This is a muted Euro-style pilsner that lacks in bitterness. Nice.
