Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark May 9, 2008 From tap at the brewery. Served in a stein krug, so I’m not able to see the color, but the head is nice. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel and the flavour has a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness, that makes this lager refreshing. It also has notes of malt, caramel and citrus.
DSG (844), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (7/2/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Aroma is malty and a bit earthy. Sweet malty flavor with some light butterscotch and a slightly drier finish. The flavour is malty with a good amoumnt of hops giving the right amount of bitterness. very good malt profile. A touch of smoke too.Light ABV, but medium body. Absolutely interesting, one of the best In this style. TBone (4933), Pori, Finland Jul 27, 2007 Draught@Greifenklau, Bamberg
Light copper golden color, good creamy off-white head. Rye-bread-malty nose. Rye, blackcurrant and grassy hops in the flavor. Medium-bodied. Some way personal but among Bamberg lagers, this is not among the best of them.
